Oxford in the Snow is just beautiful. This makes me miss home!
Oxford, England.
Winter’s death revealed to me the secrets behind the vines. I found the columns which are eaten away every year, but which come back every year.

The spirit of elder days found a dwelling here, and we delighted to trace its footsteps. If these feelings had not found an imaginary gratification, the appearance of the city had yet in itself sufficient beauty to obtain out admiration. The colleges are ancient and picturesque; the streets are almost magnificent; and the lovely Isis, which flows beside it through meadows of exquisite verdure, is spread forth into a placid expanse of waters, which reflects its majestic assemblage of towers, and spires, and domes, embosomed among aged trees.

Some photos I took of my favorite college in Oxford: Christ Church College, or, as I like to call it, the Alice in Wonderland college. It’s absolutely beautiful and my crappy camera doesn’t do it any justice, but I still wanted to share some shots of it. All were taken during the only official tour I ever had of Oxford sometime during 7th week.
I’ve spent two days with my soul bro, just sharing our recent semesters and looking over old photos. Somehow it made me a bit nostalgic for cobblestone streets, vibrant green grass, and beautiful architecture.
I wanted to write things for the blog today, but instead I wrote a long, long note about this past weekend that I chose to keep private for now. However, enjoy the photos. ^^ Oxford is beautiful regardless of camera-ability.
Lovely photoset, darling!

Oxford’s Radcliffe Infirmary revamp will see remains of 700 dug up
The remains of about 700 people buried under a former hospital in Oxford are to be exhumed as part of the site’s redevelopment.
Approval has been given for the bodies to be dug up at the Radcliffe Infirmary site following a public hearing.
There are no identity records for the remains, which are thought to date from 1770 to 1855.
The University of Oxford, which owns the site, said the bodies will be reburied in consecrated ground.
Redevelopment of the site has already started with a new mathematical and humanities building as well as a new school of government and a health centre.
Archaeologists will remove the remains and hope they will reveal important historical information. Read more.
There’s 700 people buried under there?! i go past it every day and it’s already looking like an abyss.
